Seasonal Depression

Seasonal depression sparks the nation with countless of cases each year. This depression occurs when there is a change in seasons it usually happens in the beginning of fall, this is unlike winter sadness it effects your daily life as well as your friends and family. Some things that cause seasonal affective disorder (SAD), when there is less sunlight a clock shifts in your body, this clock regulates your hormones, mood, and sleep. A Brain chemical imbalance could also provoke this disorder.
The people who are at risk of this disorder are people who have bipolar disorder, major depressive episodes, and people who suffer with schizophrenia. SAD has some common symptoms such as sadness, anxiety, lack of energy, and over sleeping. Seasonal depression makes people feel hopless, although there are treatments to help the hopeless feeling, some of these treatments include light -therapy, talking to a licensed therapist, anti depressants, self care, and vitamin D. Seasonal depression plagues the nation each year, though there are many different treatments available.
